Adding live drums over Traktor used to be a complicated process, but now you can do it natively, inside Traktor’s remix decks.
You can use the Step Sequencer to program and manipulate your own drum patterns live and layer sounds over a playing track to give your mix a whole new groove. You can also play your own sounds on top of a regular track. The Step Sequencer is built around the Remix Decks in Traktor.
It’s basically a Step Sequencer that runs on top of the Remix Decks and sequences the individual sounds of the Remix Deck.
Berklee Online course author Mike Henderson shows how to add a whole new dimension to your DJ sets.
